About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely, primarily supporting candidates based in the US or Canada. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our web applications, including our corporate website, client-facing web portals, and internal web tools. Your expertise will help ensure these platforms are functional, visually appealing, and optimized for performance and scalability. You will collaborate closely with back-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality user experiences that align with our brand standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the entire web development process—from design and development to deployment—and have a keen eye for user interface and customer experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and solve complex problems will be vital in supporting our company's growth and product excellence. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a high-growth startup operating in one of the most exciting markets today, with responsibilities that span technical development, mentorship, and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, preferably within the fintech industry
• Proficiency in JavaScript and deep expertise in Typescript and React
• Familiarity with backend programming, particularly in Go
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
• Experience working with digital assets, banking-as-a-service, brokerage-as-a-service, or payment platforms (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and scalable web pages supporting core business functions
• Implement UI enhancements to improve user experience and interface consistency
• Optimize web pages for maximum speed, performance, and scalability
• Assist back-end developers with coding, troubleshooting, and integrating front-end components with server-side logic
• Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms through thoughtful design and implementation
• Contribute to the company's product vision by providing thought leadership and mentoring junior team members
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
