Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Windows/Linux systems, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, networking, automation, monitoring, and system security.
This opportunity is suitable for eligible F-1 OPT/STEM OPT professionals whose employment is directly related to their qualifying degree or field of study.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise IT systems and infrastructure.
- Administer Windows and Linux server environments.
- Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot operating system, application, network, and infrastructure issues.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and system services.
- Support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
- Implement system security, patching, hardening, and configuration standards.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh projects.
- Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical procedures.
- Collaborate with Network, Security, Cloud, DevOps, and Application teams.
- Analyze monitoring alerts, logs, and system metrics to identify potential issues.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change-management processes.
- Support production environments and participate in on-call activities when required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and system administration.
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
- Basic scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Understanding of system monitoring, troubleshooting, and security practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
