Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, network security, routing and switching, and cloud/network technologies.
This opportunity is suitable for eligible F-1 OPT/STEM OPT professionals whose employment is directly related to their qualifying degree or field of study.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, switching, and performance issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and VPN technologies.
- Implement network security best practices and access controls.
- Support LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking environments.
- Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects.
- Analyze network logs and monitoring alerts to identify potential issues.
- Create and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and configuration standards.
- Work with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams to resolve network issues.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change-management processes.
- Automate routine network administration tasks using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Participate in on-call or after-hours support when required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, VPN, and routing.
- Familiarity with routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
- Experience with or knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar networking technologies.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows networking concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
