Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Golang Developer at Nord Group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the architecture and development of high performance systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architectures. Contribute to the technical roadmap and ensure the integration of best practices in software architecture.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Golang, ensuring the performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Designers, and DevOps Engineers, to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices, and work with Apache Kafka to ensure seamless data streaming and messaging.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, and provide mentorship to junior developers to foster their growth and adherence to best practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

Tech Stack

• Primary Language: Golang
• Additional Languages: Java and Node.js (preferred, but not mandatory)
• Must-Have Experience: Microservices architecture, Apache Kafka
• Preferred Experience: Familiarity with modern software development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Contract Duration: 6-12 months, with a potential for extension based on project needs.
• Start Date: 2-4 weeks from the offer acceptance.
• Location: Onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
