Are you an experienced Denodo Developer looking to play a key role in building a modern enterprise data platform? We're seeking a talented engineer to join one of the region's leading organisations, where you'll help deliver scalable, high-performance data virtualization solutions that power enterprise analytics and digital transformation initiatives.
Working within a highly collaborative data engineering team, you'll design and develop virtual data services, integrate complex data sources, optimise platform performance, and help establish best practices for enterprise-wide data access and governance.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Denodo Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data virtualization solutions, including:
- Designing and developing Denodo virtual views, data services, and semantic data models
- Building reusable data services and APIs to enable enterprise-wide data consumption
- Integrating data from multiple sources including relational databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and flat files
- Developing VQL scripts, transformations, joins, and federated queries
- Optimising query performance through caching, indexing, and performance tuning
- Configuring and supporting Denodo environments across Development, Test, and Production
- Implementing security, data masking, RBAC, metadata management, and governance standards
- Monitoring platform health, resolving production issues, and supporting deployments
- Working closely with Data Architects, BI teams, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Producing technical documentation and promoting development standards and best practices

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with strong hands-on Denodo development experience and a passion for building enterprise data platforms.
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience developing and administering the Denodo Platform
- Strong understanding of Data Virtualization architecture and principles
- Excellent SQL and VQL development skills
- Experience designing logical and semantic data models
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML
- Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts
- Strong knowledge of relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
- Experience troubleshooting and optimising large-scale enterprise data environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams
