Senior Product Lead (Casino & iGaming) – Nordics Region

Our client is an established iGaming operator who is looking to hire an experienced product lead to drive their efforts in the Nordics region. This will be a crucial hire for the business, with the successful candidate having a proven track record of casino product leadership within this market.

This position can be based from either Malta or Marbella offices with full relocation provided.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Lead the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap across casino brands, with a genuine interest in sportsbooks and anything in iGaming and technology.
• Translate the Nordic player experience into great products: game mechanics, bonus structures and UX.
• Set and own product KPIs, Data (activation, retention, NGR per player, feature adoption) and report progress.
• Balance fast experimentation with the discipline regulated markets demand.

AI & Innovation

• Make AI the core of the product organisation: personalisation engines, dynamic bonusing, predictive models, and any AI-assisted content and innovation.
• Build the internal case for where AI creates real competitive advantage and push back where it's noise.
• Partner with tech to try new things constantly.

Technology Leadership

• Own the tech function: direction, reliability, delivery velocity and hiring in collaboration with the Technical Lead.
• Set the bar for how product and tech work together, sprint cadence, prioritisation, technical decisions.
• Ensure any product and tech solutions scale safely across markets and brands without compromising compliance, quality, innovation and player trust.

Brand & Player Experience

• Partner with Marketing and Design so every product touchpoint reflects brand voice: bold, sharp, recognisable.
• Champion localisation that goes deeper than translation: build product experiences that feel native to our players.
• Use player data and research to keep sharpening what amazing looks like.

Leadership, Mentorship & Culture

• Build and lead a product and tech team that players and colleagues want to be part of.
• Mentor directly, make growing your team's capability a personal measure of your own success.
• Be the product and technology voice, and act as an ambassador internally and externally.
• Bring structure without bureaucracy: succession planning, people development, clear ownership, and accountability.

Compliance & Responsible Gaming

• Build product and AI systems that are compliant by design across regulatory frameworks.
• Treat responsible gambling as a product feature, embed it into onboarding.
• Work closely with Compliance to stay ahead of regulatory shifts.

Requirements

• 5+ years in product leadership, with real ownership of a product roadmap and P&L, online casino or regulated iGaming strongly preferred.
• Proven experience managing or partnering deeply with tech teams; you understand technology even if you don't write code.
• A track record of using AI as a working tool.
• Genuine curiosity about our players and markets, Nordic iGaming experience is a strong plus.
• A mentorship first leadership style, you have grown people, not just managed them.
• Comfortable in operating into regulated markets: you know compliance shapes good products.
• Casino product background is essential, sportsbook exposure is a genuine plus.
