How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- As a Market & Commodity Analyst, you will analyse international chemical, plastic, textile & packaging markets. You will identify the economic trends and offer actionable insights to inform internal commodity strategies
- You act as a subject matter expert, developing comprehensive analyses and innovative frameworks to evaluate global trade market dynamics, enhancing forward looking decision-making
- You monitor trade price fluctuations, value chain evolutions, and sectoral developments, ensuring the synthesis of accurate and timely insights
- You'll be supporting in the creation of business cases and the identification and development of opportunities in buying strategies
- Working as part of the Market Intelligence team, you'll create presentations based on global trade and prepare weekly, monthly and custom reports/insights on the commodity market's situation
The requirements of the role include:
- You have completed business-oriented or science studies or similar education
- You possess relevant work experience in the field of chemical, retail or FMCG sectors
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Business-fluent English skills are essentials to the role
- Analytical and solution-oriented personality describes your working style
- You bring a reliable, structured and independent way of working with you
