The Role
We are looking for Mid-Level and Senior Programmers to join our growing team.

Experience with Unreal Engine would be highly desirable, although it is not essential. We are seeking capable generalists who are comfortable working across multiple areas of development and tackling a broad range of technical challenges.
Depending on project requirements, you may contribute to mission-critical defence applications, advanced simulation and training systems, immersive technologies or game development projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain gameplay, simulation and core software systems
• Optimise performance across CPU, GPU, memory usage and load times
• Build custom tools that improve development workflows and team productivity
• Collaborate closely with design, art and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Support and mentor other programmers

Skills and Experience
• Strong professional experience working with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity
• Strong C++ programming skills
• Experience in optimisation, debugging and performance profiling

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Location and Working Pattern
This is a hybrid role based at our office at Sci-Tech Daresbury.
Employees are expected to work from the office three days per week, with flexibility to work remotely for the remaining two days.
Applicants must have an unrestricted right to work in the UK.
The successful candidate must also be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. This will be sponsored by MTX Solutions.
Salary
Salary will be commensurate with experience. Relocation packages are available.
