Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cyber Security Engineer at CYRIS360 in Rotterdam, with flexibility for remote work. The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as application security, network security, information security, vulnerability assessment, and offensive security to ensure the protection of valuable assets and data.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in similar or related role.
• Broad experience and security knowledge with embedded systems and computer network protocols.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automating security tasks.
• Experience with security tools like Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, and other relevant tools for network and OS security.
• Ability to conduct thorough penetration testing for both networks and operating systems/end points.
• Familiarity and ability to read risk analyses generated based on commonly established risk analysis methodologies.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Experience with build and test automation tools such as bazel, ECU-test
• Relevant certifications like CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or CISM
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and trends in cybersecurity
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
