Partner closely with leadership to support business objectives while ensuring positive employee experience, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence
Act as liaison between PEO and vendors
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
Build trust and maintain confidentiality while handling payroll, benefits, employee relations, recruiting, and compliance
Demonstrate strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
Technical Skills Required

Job Description


Our client, a professional services organization based in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL is looking to hire their first HR Director! Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This role will oversee human resources operations, payroll administration, benefits management, talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, training and development, and organizational culture initiatives.


As the company's dedicated HR resource, this individual will partner closely with leadership to support business objectives while ensuring a positive employee experience, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across the organization. The Human Resources Director will play a critical role in attracting, developing, and retaining talent while fostering a high-performance, employee-centric culture

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a standalone HR Generalist, HR Manager, or Business Partner role.
  • Experience in a growing/scaling company.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, recruiting, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • This is a remote role, up to 10% travel required.
