Job Description
Senior C++ Engineer (Android/iOS)
Location: Fully Remote
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months + extensions
We are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer with strong Android and/or iOS experience to join a cross-functional team building and modernizing a large-scale mobile platform. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, focusing on performance, scalability, and modern network infrastructure.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mobile development or mobile infrastructure
- Strong expertise in C++
- Solid experience with Android and/or iOS
- Experience developing production-grade SDKs or mobile platform components
- Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills
- Experience with CI/CD, automated build pipelines, and large modular codebases
- Deep understanding of networking:
- HTTP/2+
- WebSockets
- Caching
- Retries/Backoff
- Offline functionality
- Error handling
- Experience with real-time communication systems and cross-platform development
