You will own the full marketing strategy, from brand positioning and demand generation to customer engagement and team development.

Working closely with revenue, product, sales, and customer teams, you will create measurable growth strategies that accelerate market presence and business outcomes.

The role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, requiring a leader who can build systems, develop teams, and drive operational excellence.

You will shape how the organization communicates its value, strengthens customer relationships, and expands its influence in the education technology landscape.

This is an opportunity for an experienced marketing executive to directly impact educators, students, and communities through innovative solutions.

Accountabilities

As the marketing leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, pipeline growth, customer engagement, and revenue expansion. You will lead a high-performing marketing function while partnering across the organization to create alignment and measurable business impact.

  • Own and execute a marketing strategy that connects brand positioning, buyer education, demand generation, and revenue growth into a unified, measurable system.
  • Develop and maintain a compelling market narrative that differentiates the organization and resonates with district leaders, educators, and key stakeholders.
  • Align Sales, Customer Success, Product, and other teams around consistent messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner with revenue operations to establish strong marketing analytics, measure performance against business goals, and optimize investment decisions.
  • Build and scale multi-channel demand generation programs that create qualified pipeline and support revenue targets.
  • Develop strategies across paid media, SEO, events, content, email, and other channels to improve acquisition efficiency and customer lifetime value.
  • Create sales enablement resources, tools, and programs that improve conversion rates and shorten sales cycles.
  • Lead customer marketing initiatives focused on retention, expansion, advocacy, and long-term engagement.
  • Develop go-to-market plans for new products and features in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Establish thought leadership programs, research initiatives, and content strategies that position the organization as an industry authority.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team focused on creativity, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize marketing operations, including automation systems, website performance, workflows, reporting, and campaign processes.
  • Contribute as a strategic member of the revenue leadership team by influencing organizational priorities, culture, and growth initiatives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on marketing executive with a strong track record of building demand engines, leading teams, and driving measurable business growth in a fast-moving environment.

  • 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a senior marketing leadership role.
  • Proven success building demand generation programs that directly impact pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
  • Experience leading marketing strategy across brand, digital, content, demand generation, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Strong storytelling abilities with the ability to translate complex technology solutions into compelling messages for business audiences.
  • Experience marketing to education technology, SaaS, or similar industries is strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of marketing automation platforms, preferably HubSpot, and data-driven campaign optimization.
  • Expertise across key marketing channels, including paid search, SEO, content marketing, events, and digital campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use metrics and insights to guide strategic decisions.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategy with hands-on execution in a resourceful, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience building, coaching, and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across sales, product, customer success, and operations.
  • Forward-thinking mindset with enthusiasm for AI-powered tools and emerging technologies that improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Passion for improving educational outcomes and alignment with a mission-driven organization.

Benefits

The role offers a competitive compensation package and a flexible work environment designed to support professional success and personal well-being.

  • Fully remote work environment.
  • Annual base salary range of $190,000-$210,000, depending on experience, skills, expertise, and location.
  • Annual bonus opportunity of up to 20% of base salary.
  • Opportunity to lead a high-impact marketing function with significant growth potential.
  • Ability to directly influence solutions supporting millions of students and educators.
  • Collaborative, transparent, and mission-driven workplace culture.
  • Flexible environment built around ownership, autonomy, and trust.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and career advancement.
