About The Role
Imagineeer is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer (NGSC) to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and automation processes across AWS and Azure environments. This role emphasizes the development of robust CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code practices, and platform security operations to support federal mission requirements. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions, implement container orchestration with Amazon EKS, and ensure continuous integration and deployment efficiencies. Additionally, the role involves managing patching and vulnerability mitigation activities, supporting security compliance aligned with federal standards such as NIST and FISMA, and troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues. Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in DevOps engineering with a strong background in cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline development
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation and Ansible
- Extensive experience deploying and managing containerized applications on Amazon EKS
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Experience with patch management and vulnerability management processes and tools
- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
