The Cloud Solution Architect is a senior technical leadership role responsible for designing and advancing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments across enterprise platforms. This position plays a key role in shaping multi-cloud strategies, modernizing infrastructure, and enabling innovation through cloud architecture best practices. The successful candidate will work across architecture, security, networking, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver high-impact solutions supporting business and technology transformation. Accountabilities
The Cloud Solution Architect will lead the design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise cloud platforms while ensuring security, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency. This role requires strong architectural expertise, strategic thinking, and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
- Design and implement multi-cloud architectures across AWS and GCP environments, supporting enterprise IT and product development initiatives.
- Define cloud architecture standards, governance models, operational practices, and best practices to improve cloud adoption and reliability.
- Own the architecture of core cloud services, cloud-to-on-premises connectivity, workload migration strategies, disaster recovery solutions, and networking frameworks.
- Develop secure and scalable cloud solutions aligned with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Collaborate with security, networking, infrastructure, engineering, and product teams to deliver resilient cloud platforms.
- Support artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives by designing optimized cloud environments for training, inference, and data platforms.
- Drive cloud cost optimization, identity management, security improvements, and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical mentorship to engineers and architects, helping promote cloud expertise and architectural excellence across the organization.

- 10+ years of enterprise IT experience with significant hands-on AWS architecture and engineering expertise.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS Organizations, Landing Zone, Control Tower, Service Catalog, and Service Control Policies.
- Strong experience designing and managing cloud networking solutions, including Transit Gateway, Shared VPCs, hybrid connectivity, and multi-cloud architectures.
- Expertise in AWS security, governance, identity management, and cloud cost optimization practices.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms, including EKS, ECS, and GKE.
- Knowledge of serverless and event-driven architectures using technologies such as API Gateway and Lambda.
- Hands-on experience with GCP, including organization design, IAM, networking, Shared VPCs, and core cloud services.
- Experience supporting AI and machine learning cloud platforms, including technologies such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Vertex AI, or similar solutions.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification required; GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills within globally distributed teams.
- Ability to work remotely while being available for occasional in-person meetings and team events in the Denver, Colorado metro area.
- Competitive base salary range of $120,000 - $150,000, with expected on-target earnings between $136,000 - $170,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
