Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Application Development Engineer to design, develop, and enhance cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS Lambda. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building interactive call flows, integrating call center platforms, and translating business requirements into scalable AWS-based solutions.
This role will support the development of modern sales scripting capabilities for healthcare contact center operations, including IVR workflows, agent guidance, and backend integrations for new business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of Amazon Connect contact center solutions.
Build and maintain interactive IVR call flows using AWS Connect and AWS Lambda.
Develop scalable serverless applications and backend integrations supporting contact center operations.
Design agent scripting experiences and call routing logic to improve customer interactions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, QA teams, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions.

Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical designs and implementation plans.
Create, refine, and validate JIRA user stories and technical tasks.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Ensure adherence to AWS best practices, security standards, and coding guidelines.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience as a Senior or Lead Application Development Engineer.
7+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
7+ years of experience developing AWS Lambda functions.
Strong experience building interactive call flows using Amazon Connect integrated with AWS Lambda.
Experience integrating Amazon Connect with enterprise call center systems and backend services.
Strong understanding of IVR design, call routing, telephony workflows, and agent scripting.
Experience creating, refining, and testing JIRA user stories.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
AWS Certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the healthcare domain or other highly regulated industries.
