Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, ASP.NET, React, and modern full-stack technologies.
- Build clean, maintainable, and high-quality software following best engineering practices and architectural principles.
- Collaborate closely with distributed teams to evaluate solutions, share knowledge, and deliver successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to software architecture decisions, including microservices, domain-driven design, and service-oriented architectures where appropriate.
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and software delivery processes.
- Mentor fellow engineers through technical guidance, documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality.
- Take ownership of projects from design through deployment while proactively solving complex technical challenges.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production applications.
- Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical background.
- Strong expertise in C# and ASP.NET with solid experience across full-stack development.
- Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and MongoDB.
- Experience with MVC architecture, ORM frameworks, and scalable application design.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and microservices.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools as part of daily engineering workflows.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within distributed, international teams.
- Nice to have:
- Experience in capital markets or financial derivatives.
- Knowledge of CQRS, Event Sourcing, or event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar cloud infrastructure technologies.
- Familiarity with Blazor.
