Job Description

Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

We're partnering with the world's leading AI research teams to build next-generation security intelligence — and we need experienced practitioners to help get it right. As a Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst, you'll bring your real-world expertise to the table, analyzing enterprise security scenarios that directly shape how AI understands and responds to modern threats.

This isn't a typical security role. Your knowledge of how attacks unfold, how controls fail, and how organizations actually operate becomes the foundation for smarter, more reliable AI systems.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
  • Location: Fully Remote

What You'll Do

  • Analyze network, endpoint, and email security scenarios drawn from modern enterprise environments
  • Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to identify what went wrong and why
  • Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on real operational data
  • Create, label, and validate security datasets used to train and evaluate AI systems
  • Clearly articulate root causes, attack paths, and business impact in structured formats

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security
  • Solid working knowledge of firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM, and SIEMs
  • Deep understanding of how enterprise security controls are deployed and operated in practice
  • Able to explain complex security issues clearly and concisely — in writing
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently

Nice to Have

  • Experience with threat hunting, incident response, or red/blue team operations
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or CIS Controls
  • Background in cloud infrastructure security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Prior experience contributing to AI, ML, or data labeling projects

Why Join Us

  • Work directly on frontier AI systems with real-world security impact
  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule
  • Freelance autonomy with meaningful, intellectually engaging work
  • Collaborate with a global network of security and AI professionals
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
