Freelance Visual Designer (Junior–Mid Level)

We're a science, healthcare, and medical communications agency seeking a Freelance Visual Designer (Junior–Mid Level) to support our creative team on a project basis.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and enjoys working within established brand systems to produce polished, client-ready deliverables. Our clients include pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare organizations, so experience in these industries is highly valued.

• Edit and create layouts in Adobe InDesign
• Design, format, and refine client presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Adapt creative assets across print and digital formats while maintaining brand consistency
• Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and quality expectations
• Collaborate with our creative team to deliver high-quality work on tight timelines
  

• 2–5 years of experience in graphic or visual design
• A strong portfolio demonstrating clean, professional design work
• Experience working within established brand guidelines and visual systems (required)

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign (required)
• Strong experience designing and formatting presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint (required)
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Excellent typography, layout, and production design skills
• Experience preparing files for print production
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work with quick turnaround times
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  

• Experience designing for pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical communications clients is a major plus
• Previous agency experience is highly preferred
