About The Role

The QA Tester for Voldex’s flagship game, Brookhaven, plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality experience for millions of players. This position involves testing new updates and features across multiple environments and devices, including mobile, tablet, PC, and console. The ideal candidate will think like a player, identify issues early, and collaborate closely with designers and developers to maintain the integrity of the game. As a key member of the QA team, you will be responsible for reproducing bugs, documenting findings with detailed reports, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Your insights will directly influence the quality and stability of the game, helping to deliver a seamless experience to a global community of Roblox enthusiasts. This role requires a passionate, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills, capable of working autonomously in a remote setting while aligning with the company’s strategic objectives and timelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in written and spoken English communication.
• Active experience as a Roblox player with a strong understanding of player behavior.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex issues and findings.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Focus and methodical approach to repetitive or high-volume testing tasks.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and levels.
• Availability to work full-time (40+ hours per week).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Nice to Have: Previous professional experience working on Roblox games or in QA roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of Brookhaven in both LIVE and QA environments across various devices and platforms.
• Identify, reproduce, and document bugs with detailed reports, including logs, screenshots, and step-by-step instructions.
• Perform gameplay testing from a player perspective to ensure an optimal user experience.
• Collaborate with the QA Lead to develop and execute comprehensive test plans that anticipate potential issues prior to release.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and findings clearly and effectively to team members and stakeholders.
• Maintain a detailed record of test cases, results, and issues to support continuous improvement.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to improve testing processes and game quality.
• Stay updated on Roblox platform updates and community feedback to inform testing strategies.
