We're looking for a Senior Retention Product Manager to take full ownership of our retention strategy. You'll drive user retention metrics, develop lifecycle communications, identify growth opportunities across the customer journey, and turn data into measurable product improvements.
What You'll be doing
- Own key retention metrics, including Day 1 / Day 7 / Day 30 Retention, Churn Rate, LTV, and related KPIs
- Design and optimize lifecycle communications across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, onboarding journeys, and reactivation campaigns
- Generate, prioritize, and validate hypotheses through A/B testing, behavioral analytics, and qualitative research
- Identify friction points and user drop-offs throughout the customer journey and propose practical, scalable solutions
- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Analytics teams to align acquisition and retention strategies
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate data analysis, personalize communications, and generate product hypotheses
- Build personalized engagement strategies using customer segmentation and behavioral data
- Work with CRM/CDP platforms and marketing automation tools to scale retention programs
- Contribute to Overgear's mission of becoming the #1 service for gamers in our category

What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in Retention, CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, or Growth
- Proven track record of improving retention, reducing churn, or increasing customer LTV
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience building funnels, segmenting users, and interpreting A/B test results
- Practical experience with analytics and customer engagement platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Braze, Customer.io, Intercom, or similar tools
- Hands-on use of AI tools in day-to-day work for data analysis, content generation, customer communication, or insight discovery
- Experience working in e-commerce and/or marketplace businesses
- Ability to translate data into actionable hypotheses and convert them into well-prioritized product initiatives
- English (B2+) — comfortable reading documentation, writing customer-facing communications, and collaborating with an international team
- Fluent Russian knowledge
