Senior Technical Product Lead - Asset Lifecycle Management Software

At tokenforge, we're a lean, international team building asset lifecycle management software for digital financial products in regulated capital markets. We work hands on, take ownership, and care about building software our clients actually rely on. Engineers, designers, compliance, and founders work side by side, with flat hierarchies and short decision paths. Everyone has a voice and can contribute ideas. We're looking for an experienced person who combines technical leadership with product ownership. You'll steer the development team, make architectural decisions, and ensure our platform reliably meets the needs of our clients in regulated capital markets. As the link between product, engineering, and business, you'll play a key role in how tokenforge grows.

Your Responsibilities

‍Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Own the technical roadmap and the platform's architecture decisions
• Lead and mentor the development team (currently Sylius developers for migration and feature development)
• Define coding standards, review processes, and technical best practices
• Evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and third-party integrations
• Own the platform's stability, performance, scalability, and security

Product Ownership

• Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog in close coordination with the founders
• Translate business requirements and customer feedback into clear, actionable user stories and technical specifications
• Steer the development process (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure the team's ability to deliver
• Prioritize the migration project (Sylius 1.4 → 2.0) in line with the product strategy

• Create and maintain product documentation, technical concepts, and roadmap artifacts

Interface & Communication

• Work closely with founders, compliance, clients, and external partners
• Communicate development status, risks, and decisions transparently and proactively
• Build and evolve development processes that scale with the company

Your Profile

Required Skills

• Several years of experience as a Lead Developer, Tech Lead, or in a comparable role with team responsibility
• Solid knowledge of PHP/Symfony and ideally experience with Sylius or comparable e-commerce/platform frameworks
• Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable product role (backlog, prioritization, stakeholder management)
• Understanding of agile development methods (Scrum, Kanban) and their pragmatic use in small teams
• A strong ability to address both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• An independent, self-directed way of working with high quality standards and an entrepreneurial mindset

• Good English for working in an international team

Strong Plus (but not required)

• Experience in fintech, banking, regulated environments, or with digital financial products
• Knowledge of tokenization, crypto assets, or digital securities
• Experience with Sylius 2.0 architecture, API Platform, or similar modern PHP platforms
• Background in product development for B2B software or SaaS platforms
• Experience with compliance-driven requirements and their technical implementation
