About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team. This mid-level role is perfect for professionals with 3 to 5+ years of experience who possess a strong passion for both technical development and aesthetic design. As a WordPress Developer at I.T. For Less, you will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining client websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, highly functional, and optimized for performance. You will work closely with our design and project management teams to translate static design files into pixel-perfect, responsive web pages that deliver exceptional user experiences.

This role requires a candidate who is comfortable working within existing WordPress environments, developing custom themes and plugins, and implementing new features that align with client requirements. Your expertise will contribute to the ongoing maintenance, security, and performance optimization of websites, ensuring they adhere to best practices and industry standards. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3–5+ years of professional experience in WordPress development, demonstrating a strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You should have extensive experience in developing custom themes and plugins, understanding the core architecture of WordPress, and utilizing hooks, actions, and filters effectively. Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and experience converting design mockups from Figma or Adobe XD into functional websites are essential. Additionally, proficiency with WordPress page builders such as Elementor, and experience working within hosting environments like WP Engine, cPanel, or similar platforms, are highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are vital for success in this role.
