Role Description This is a full-time, remote CTO Co-founder (Equity Only) role responsible for leading the overall technology vision and execution at HireXAI. The CTO Co-founder will architect and scale the AI-powered talent platform, oversee software development, and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the product. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating closely with the founding team on product roadmap, defining technical architecture, managing engineering priorities, and guiding build-versus-buy decisions. The role also involves hands-on coding where needed, establishing engineering best practices, and mentoring early technical hires. The CTO Co-founder will engage with customers and partners to understand technical requirements, support pilots, and align the technology strategy with business goals.
Qualifications
- Strong software development skills, including experience building and scaling SaaS or AI-driven platforms.
- Proficiency in IT strategy and technical leadership, with the ability to align technology decisions with business objectives.
- Experience in systems and application architecture, including designing secure, scalable, and modular solutions.
- Proven track record in product development, working from concept to launch in fast-paced or startup environments.
- Demonstrated project management abilities, including prioritization, roadmap planning, and delivery in agile settings.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies, data platforms, or modern cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Comfort operating as a hands-on technologist while also building and leading an engineering team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, ownership mentality, and readiness to work for equity-only compensation in the early stage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
