About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned, execution-focused digital marketing professional who lives and breathes the Indian social media ecosystem. You are not a beginner learning the ropes; you are a "doer" who has managed budgets on Meta Ads Manager, written copy in Hinglish, and navigated the nuances of pan-India audiences. This is a fully remote position, but we require someone based in India who understands local trends, festivals, and consumer sentiment intuitively.

Important Note on Compensation: This salary band (25kmonth) reflects a fully remote, independent contributor role without team management responsibilities. This is ideal for a highly experienced professional from a Tier 2/Tier 3 city or someone seeking work-life balance over corporate agency pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management (Brand A & Brand B)
  • Plan, create, and schedule content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) for both entities.
  • Engage with the online community and respond to comments/messages appropriately.
  • Monitor trends and analytics to optimize performance with content.
  • Advanced Strategy: Execute monthly content calendars 4 weeks in advance, aligned with Indian festival calendars (Diwali, Eid, Pongal, etc.) and local news cycles.
  • Platform Mastery:
    • Instagram: Deep understanding of the Indian algorithm; proficient in using trending Indian audio, managing Collab posts, and driving engagement via Stories interactive stickers (Polls/Sliders in Hinglish).
    • YouTube: Creating Community Posts and optimizing Shorts for the Indian mobile-first audience (9:16 aspect ratio with hard-coded subtitles).
    • LinkedIn: Crafting "Founder's Voice" content and professional posts with a local business context.
  • Copywriting: Fluency in Hinglish (Hindi + English mix) is mandatory. Ability to switch between professional English for B2B and colloquial Hinglish for D2C audiences.
  • Content Creation & Branding
  • Develop high-quality, engaging content following brand guidelines (graphics, videos, reels, blog posts, etc.).
  • Maintain brand consistency in all visuals and messaging for both Brand A & Brand B.
  • Collaborate with the team to generate content ideas.
  • Technical Proficiency: Use Canva Pro to create carousel posts, reel covers, and YouTube thumbnails at a professional speed (no dedicated designer provided).
  • Website & SEO Optimization
  • Update and manage content on Brand A’s website (WordPress).
  • Update and manage content on Brand B’s website (Kajabi/Thinkific).
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve visibility, including knowledge of Hindi/Regional Language Keywords for YouTube Search and Google Discover.
  • Track and analyze website traffic and engagement.
  • Paid Media & Performance Marketing (Hands-On)
  • Meta Ads Manager (Non-Negotiable): Set up Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns and Lead Gen campaigns independently. Responsible for a monthly ad budget of ₹1L - ₹3L.
  • ROAS Focus: Analyze data for CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) and CTR specific to the Indian market (where data is cheaper but conversion requires more trust-building).
  • Reporting: Weekly report preparation in Google Looker Studio to show exactly where the ad spend went.
  • Email Marketing & Campaigns
  • Design and execute email campaigns (newsletters, promotions, event announcements):
    • Brand A: 2x/month
    • Brand B: 2x/month (increased frequency pre-events)
  • Monitor open rates and engagement for optimization. Tools: Brand A (Mailchimp), Brand B (Kajabi/Thinkific).
  • Event Promotion & Collaboration
  • Assist in promoting in-person and virtual events, workshops, and classes.
  • Work with partners and affiliates for cross-promotions.
  • Professional Outreach & ORM (Online Reputation Management)
  • Assist in developing and executing online strategies to connect with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Create targeted campaigns using email marketing, social media, and SEO to increase visibility, drive engagement, and build brand awareness.
  • Comment Moderation: Respond to comments within 2 hours during Indian business hours. Handle negative reviews on Google My Business with a calm, problem-solving tone.
  • Influencer Outreach: Identify Nano & Micro-Influencers in India (1k - 50k followers) who offer high engagement at low cost. Negotiate barter deals or low-cost collaborations.
Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5+ Years of Full-Time Experience in Digital Marketing specifically for the Indian market (Agency or Brand side).
  • Tool Stack Expertise:
    • Meta Business Suite (Advanced)
    • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
    • Canva (Advanced)
    • Social Media Scheduling Tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Planner)
    • CapCut, Adobe Pro (bonus)
    • Collaboration: WhatsApp, Trello, Google Workspace
  • Language Skills: Fluent Hindi (spoken/typed in Roman script) and Fluent English. Knowledge of any other regional language (Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi) is a strong advantage.
  • Hardware Requirement: Must have own high-speed internet connection and a laptop capable of handling Canva and multiple browser tabs.
