Payroll Specialist - GCC Countries

Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations across multiple GCC countries. The role ensures accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for all employees in the region, while standardizing procedures and enhancing payroll efficiency across entities and countries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll cycles across GCC countries.
• Ensure compliance with each country’s local labor laws, social insurance, tax, and end-of-service regulations.
• Consolidate monthly payroll data from multiple entities and ensure timely salary disbursements.
• Review and validate variable elements such as commissions, overtime, incentives, and deductions.

• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and local partners to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Oversee submissions to authorities (e.g., GOSI, WPS, MOHRE, SIO, LMRA) and maintain statutory compliance.
• Manage expatriate payroll including allowances, relocation benefits, and cross-border transfers.
• Prepare regional payroll reports, analytics, and cost summaries for management review.
• Lead process automation and standardization initiatives across the GCC payroll functions.
• Supervise and mentor payroll officers in different markets, ensuring adherence to group policies.

Required Skills and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources.
• 2+ years of payroll experience.
• Proven experience handling payroll across GCC countries.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and social insurance systems in the region (GOSI, WPS, SIO, LMRA, MOHRE, etc.).
• Excellent command of English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Advanced MS Excel and HR/payroll systems proficiency (SAP, Oracle, MenaME, or similar).
• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
