.NET Software Developer (Backend/API)

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of robust, scalable enterprise applications within a fully remote, US-based environment. You will work on backend systems, APIs, and data-driven services that support critical business operations for large-scale clients. The position involves close collaboration with product managers, QA engineers, and technical stakeholders in an agile delivery setting. You will be responsible for building high-quality software using modern .NET technologies while ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will also participate in architectural discussions and continuous improvement of delivery pipelines. The environment values clean code, accountability, and strong technical ownership across the full development lifecycle.

Accountabilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs using modern .NET technologies while ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability of enterprise systems.

• Develop and enhance applications using C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+ and RESTful API architectures
• Build, integrate, and maintain web services connected to SQL databases and third-party platforms
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code standards
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and release activities in an agile environment
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance, stability, and reliability improvements
• Collaborate in sprint planning, technical design discussions, and cross-functional agile ceremonies
• Document system architecture, technical designs, and deployment processes for long-term maintainability
  
  

Requirements

Experienced .NET developer with a strong foundation in backend engineering, API development, and relational databases, combined with the ability to work effectively in agile, distributed teams.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Solid experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases and ORM tools such as Entity Framework
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and backend service architecture
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Git and modern development workflows
• Ability to work remotely within the United States with alignment to US business hours
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
• US work authorization required
• Familiarity with Azure services, Docker, Kubernetes, or frontend frameworks (React/Angular) is a plus
• Experience in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or insurance is a plus
