Senior Data Engineer
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Salary: Up to £80,000
We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join a growing, forward-thinking data team. This is a great opportunity to work in a modern data environment, helping to build and scale a robust data platform that supports both operational and strategic decision-making.
You’ll play a key role in designing and developing data pipelines, shaping data architecture, and enabling the business to unlock the full value of its data.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and building scalable data pipelines using modern tooling
- Contributing to the development of a well-structured, layered data architecture (data lake → warehouse → reporting)
- Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across multiple source systems
- Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality datasets
- Troubleshooting and resolving data quality issues
- Documenting data models, pipelines, and lineage
- Working within an Agile environment, contributing to sprints and team delivery
- Sharing knowledge and supporting a collaborative team culture

What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer (typically 4–6+ years)
- Hands-on experience with: Snowflake, DBT (or similar transformation tools)
- Modern data ingestion tools
- Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines end-to-end
- Understanding of data modelling concepts (normalised and dimensional)
- Experience working in cloud environments (Azure preferred but not essential)
