We are working with a South African Microsoft Partner who is looking to appoint a Senior ERP Business Analyst to strengthen how Business Central solutions are designed, structured, and delivered across international projects.

This is a key role sitting between consulting and development, focused on turning complex business requirements into clear, structured, and implementable solutions.

A core part of this position is the use of AI tools to support solution design, analysis, documentation, and prototyping, helping improve both speed and quality of delivery.

The role

You will work closely with consulting and development teams to:

Analyse client requirements, enhancement requests, and product gaps

Translate business needs into structured solution designs

Produce clear functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria

Identify risks, dependencies, and edge cases early in the design process

Ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned to Business Central architecture

Support developers with clear, well-defined solution documentation

Improve the overall quality and consistency of solution design across projects

Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and solution prototyping

Contribute to continuous improvement in how solutions are designed and delivered

What we are looking for

Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or NAV

Background as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Systems Analyst

Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes

Excellent ability to structure and document complex requirements

AI & technical capability

This role requires practical experience using AI tools in a professional setting, for example:

-Using AI to structure requirements or workshop outputs

-Supporting documentation and specification writing

-Assisting with process mapping or solution design

-Using AI tools to explore options, improve clarity, or speed up analysis

-You do not need to be an AI developer, but you must be comfortable using AI as a working tool.

Desirable:

-Exposure to Python, scripting, or technical experimentation

-Experience with SQL, APIs, or system integrations

-Familiarity with tools such as Figma or similar for prototyping
