About Bylon
Bylon is a newly launching brand redefining indoor greenery with soilless plants housed in thoughtfully designed, artisanal crafted vessels.
As we prepare for our upcoming launch, we are looking for a creative, articulate, and detail-oriented Social Community Manager to build intimate, engaged, relationships with interior designers, influencers, and our early customers to form the foundation of our only community through Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook groups, and email.
Role Overview
- Position Type: Part-Time (starts at 10 hours per week, may go up to 20 hours a week)
- Location: Fully Remote
- Compensation: Hourly (negotiable depending on experience)

- Daily Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and brand mentions across active social platforms (primarily Instagram and WhatsApp) with an authentic voice.
- Proactive Outreach: Identify and interact with relevant creators, interior designers, architects, and plant enthusiasts to expand Bylon’s digital footprint and foster organic relationships.
- Insights & Feedback: Monitor community sentiment, track engagement trends, and synthesize qualitative feedback to help inform content strategy and product development.
- Organic Instagram Creative Collaboration: Work with our founder, marketing agency, and graphic designer to curate, ideate, and draft instagram organic content.
- Crisis & FAQ Management: Efficiently handle customer care inquiries via social channels, routing technical plant care or order questions to the appropriate internal channels when necessary.
Success in the role will be measured by quantitative measures such as engagement, community growth, as well as qualitative feedback from members.
Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 1–3 years of experience managing social media communities, digital groups, or customer-facing communication for an e-commerce, premium lifestyle, or design-led brand.
- Aesthetic Alignment: A strong intuitive grasp of clean luxury and organic design aesthetics.
- Communication Style: Exceptional written communication skills. You can balance professionalism and warmth with a touch of wit, keeping interactions clear, concise, and authentic.
- Knowledge & Passions: A genuine interest in botany, indoor plant care, interior styling, or industrial/ceramic design is highly preferred.
- Reliability: Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage a flexible, part-time schedule independently while maintaining consistent daily touchpoints.
