Realtime Recruitment are seeking a skilled SDET for a fully remote permanent role.
As the Senior Software Engineer in Test will create, design, execute, and maintain solutions to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase productivity throughout our software development lifecycle (SDLC).
This role involves building tools and frameworks to automate the full engineering lifecycle, unit tests, functional tests, and performance tests. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to enhance test coverage and deliver high-quality products at velocity.
Responsibilities:
- 5-7 years of experience in Software Engineering or Software Engineering (In Test).
- 5 years’ experience building frameworks from scratch is essential for this position.
- Understanding of server-side Linux or Windows development, including database design and development, as well as strong web client programming skills (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
- Working experience with at least one OO language (e.g., Java, C#).
- Experience with Design Patterns, Refactoring, OO Design, and related areas.
- Passion for developing high-quality, robust automation solutions.
- Experience using automation tools and frameworks like Cucumber, SpecFlow, Mocha, JMeter, K6, Jenkins, Selenium, Playwright, REST assured, etc.
- Hands-on experience implementing automation frameworks for front-end, back-end, and REST API services/applications.
- Proven experience designing maintainable solutions for complex, large, scalable, distributed environments for both functional and non-functional testing.
- Self-starter capable of operating under various situations and project types.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
