They're looking to hire a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a high-calibre engineering team focused on delivering reliable, performant software in a complex distributed environment. This is very much an SDET-style role, where quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle rather than treated as a final stage of delivery.
Key requirements:
- Strong automation testing experience with Python preferred (Java also considered)
- Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks
- Strong API testing experience
- Performance and load testing using JMeter
- Experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQL/MySQL and Linux/Unix environments
- Ability to work closely with software engineers to drive quality across the development lifecycle
