Payroll Specialist with Hebrew


Location: Remote from Poland


We are looking for a Payroll Specialist with Hebrew to join an international payroll team and support end-to-end payroll processes for the EMEA region, with a key focus on Israel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll operations, payroll controls, employee support, vendor coordination, and close cooperation with HR and Finance stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for Israel and other EMEA markets
  • Review, control, and validate payroll data before processing
  • Process payroll-related payments to employees, tax authorities, and social security institutions
  • Ensure payroll compliance with local regulations and internal policies
  • Act as a point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and business partners
  • Cooperate with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Review and validate payroll-related journal entries into the general ledger
  • Prepare payroll reports and turn raw data into meaningful insights for different audiences
  • Support financial analysis and planning related to payroll, including the impact of changes in tax, benefits, wages, or social security regulations
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and data discipline


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of payroll experience, ideally with multi-country payroll support
  • Experience with payroll for Israel is required
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and reporting
  • Experience working with payroll data, data entry, and data validation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines independently
  • High attention to detail and strong sense of confidentiality
  • Proactive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to adapt to change


Nice to have:

  • Experience with payroll for the United Kingdom, Ireland, or MEA countries
  • Experience working with Workday or Oracle
