Payroll Specialist with Hebrew
Location: Remote from Poland
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist with Hebrew to join an international payroll team and support end-to-end payroll processes for the EMEA region, with a key focus on Israel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll operations, payroll controls, employee support, vendor coordination, and close cooperation with HR and Finance stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes for Israel and other EMEA markets
- Review, control, and validate payroll data before processing
- Process payroll-related payments to employees, tax authorities, and social security institutions
- Ensure payroll compliance with local regulations and internal policies
- Act as a point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and business partners
- Cooperate with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders
- Review and validate payroll-related journal entries into the general ledger
- Prepare payroll reports and turn raw data into meaningful insights for different audiences
- Support financial analysis and planning related to payroll, including the impact of changes in tax, benefits, wages, or social security regulations
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and data discipline

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years of payroll experience, ideally with multi-country payroll support
- Experience with payroll for Israel is required
- Professional written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and reporting
- Experience working with payroll data, data entry, and data validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines independently
- High attention to detail and strong sense of confidentiality
- Proactive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to adapt to change
