About the Role

We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer – Robotics (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on robotic vision systems, autonomous perception, and intelligent automation technologies.

In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to image processing, object detection, SLAM, depth estimation, camera systems, sensor fusion, and autonomous navigation, helping improve how AI models interpret and reason about real-world robotics and perception challenges.

You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the technical accuracy, scalability, and reliability of AI-generated computer vision solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for robotics automation, autonomous systems, and intelligent machine perception.


Responsibilities

  • Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including computer vision workflows, robotics perception pipelines, and autonomous navigation strategies
  • Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to computer vision, robotics perception, and autonomous systems
  • Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
  • Diagnose and solve real-world robotic vision and perception challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
  • Assess AI outputs for correctness, environmental awareness, scalability, and operational reliability
  • Identify bugs, incorrect assumptions, inefficient implementations, or perception inaccuracies in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
  • Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on computer vision, robotic perception, and intelligent automation systems


Requirements

  • Background in Computer Vision, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of image processing, robotic perception, sensor fusion, and autonomous navigation systems
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
  • Familiarity with OpenCV, ROS (Robot Operating System), SLAM, LiDAR systems, and robotics simulation environments is preferred
  • Experience with deep learning, object detection, segmentation, or 3D vision systems is a plus
  • Ability to critically evaluate computer vision architectures, robotics workflows, and engineering solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
