About the Role

We are looking for an Embedded Robotics Engineer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on embedded systems, robotics hardware, autonomous technologies, and intelligent automation.

In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to firmware development, microcontrollers, robotics control systems, sensor integration, embedded Linux, and hardware-software interaction, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world embedded robotics engineering challenges.

You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the technical accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of AI-generated robotics and embedded systems solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for robotics automation, intelligent machines, and edge computing applications.


Responsibilities

  • Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including embedded robotics workflows, firmware architectures, and hardware integration strategies
  • Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to embedded systems and robotics engineering
  • Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
  • Diagnose and solve real-world embedded robotics and hardware-software integration challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
  • Assess AI outputs for correctness, system efficiency, hardware compatibility, and operational reliability
  • Identify bugs, incorrect assumptions, inefficient implementations, or performance bottlenecks in AI-generated embedded solutions and provide structured feedback
  • Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on robotics systems, embedded engineering, and intelligent automation technologies


Requirements

  • Background in Embedded Systems, Robotics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems, robotics hardware, firmware development, and control systems
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or embedded programming concepts
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, RTOS, embedded Linux, and communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, or CAN
  • Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System), sensor integration, motor control, or robotics simulation tools is preferred
  • Ability to critically evaluate embedded architectures, robotics workflows, and engineering solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
