About the Role
Barycentre Technologies Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Python Django Developer to join our growing engineering team in Hamburg, Germany. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, Django, REST APIs, scalable backend architecture, cloud platforms, and modern software engineering practices.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications and enterprise-grade backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and Django.
- Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and product managers.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and databases.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes.
- Work within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7–10 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Python and Django Framework.
- Hands-on experience with Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and system design.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
