The Role
This is a hands-on role supporting a mature, production platform, not a greenfield build. The system processes insurance documents, uses AI to extract and enrich data, and integrates with third-party tools for catastrophe modelling, flood analysis, and risk scoring.
You’ll take ownership of the Azure infrastructure alongside the engineering team, focusing on incremental improvements, stability, and ongoing evolution of the platform.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and enhance a live Azure-based production environment
- Lead the migration from Ansible to Terraform
- Support the shift to an event-driven architecture using Azure Service Bus
- Help evaluate and integrate a third-party AI solution
- Troubleshoot issues and optimise performance and reliability
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver iterative platform improvements

Essential:
- Strong hands-on Azure experience
- Proven Terraform expertise in production environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
