Frontend WordPress Designer/Developer

Excel Nearshore is seeking a Frontend WordPress Designer / Developer to support a short-term website refresh project for a U.S.-based company in the medical device design and manufacturing industry. This role will focus on translating pre-defined design mockups and new visual assets into a polished, user-friendly, and responsive website experience.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the visual design is implemented accurately, maintaining strong UI/UX standards while ensuring consistency across pages. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong design sensibility and front-end development experience in WordPress environments. This is a fully remote opportunity based in Costa Rica, with an expected duration of 8–10 weeks.

Requirements

• Experience in front-end development with WordPress
• Strong UI/UX design sensibility and attention to visual detail
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
• Experience working from design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD, or similar)
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization
• Ability to work in fast-paced, short-term project environments
