About The Role

The MCS Group is partnering with an innovative software company that is embarking on a new and exciting project. We are seeking an experienced Product / UX Designer to join this dynamic organization at the very inception of its development journey. This is a senior-level position offering a unique opportunity to influence the design and user experience of a new product from the ground up. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to craft intuitive, high-quality user interfaces within a complex B2B and enterprise environment. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong portfolio of enterprise platform designs, capable of translating business needs into seamless user experiences. The position is remote, offering flexibility for UK-based professionals, with the client located in Northern Ireland. This is an excellent chance for a talented designer to make a significant impact on a pioneering project and advance their career in a fast-paced, innovative setting.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in product and UX design, with significant experience working on enterprise or B2B platforms. A proven track record of delivering end-to-end product design, from initial discovery phases to polished UI implementation, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional UI craftsmanship with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to articulate complex business problems into user-centric solutions. Advanced proficiency in Figma is required, along with a compelling portfolio showcasing relevant work, especially within B2B environments. Additional desirable qualifications include experience with AI-enabled products or tooling and familiarity with fast-paced startup or product development environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams are also critical for success in this role.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive daily rate of up to £500, depending on experience, with a contract duration of three months. The position is outside IR35, providing flexibility and clarity on tax arrangements. The role is fully remote, allowing UK-based professionals to work from their preferred location, with the client based in Northern Ireland.
