Job Description
Meet the team!
We are Modelia.
We are building the platform that will transform how the fashion industry creates, manages, and scales visual content. For decades, brands have relied on photoshoots as the foundation of their visual production. They are expensive, slow, and deeply embedded in every P&L.
We believe that model is coming to an end.
Modelia replaces photoshoots with a software-first approach. A single product image becomes the starting point for generating complete visual assets across eCommerce, marketing, and campaigns. What used to require studios, logistics, and large production teams can now be created, iterated, and scaled instantly.
This is not a feature. It is a shift in how an entire industry operates.
Our ambition is to become the platform fashion brands rely on globally to produce visuals, removing photoshoots from their workflows and from their cost structure altogether.
We are a small, focused team, moving fast, building something that doesn’t have a clear precedent.
This is one of the most important hires we will make this year.
Not just rankings, but the entire path from a search query to a registered user. How our pages are understood by Google (SEO), by AI engines (GEO), and by the people typing into them. How a powerful but complex AI product becomes the obvious answer to a question someone is already searching for. Our product has more surface than most — over fifty tool landing pages, a growing blog, and eight languages on the horizon — but it is not yet discoverable at the level it deserves. That is the work.
You will work on real problems coming from real search behavior. We see where pages stall on page two, where intent is mismatched, where we have content but no authority, where we have authority but no content. You will take that and turn it into ranked pages and qualified traffic.
You will own SEO end to end. Technical audits and the fixes that follow. Strategy, briefs, and the writing itself. You will produce targeted content for our /tool landing pages and for the blog — the copy that converts a visitor, the long-form post that ranks for the query. You will write the pages that matter most yourself, and brief the rest in a way that doesn't need rewriting. You will direct our writer, set the cadence, set the standard, and review what ships before it ships.
You will own link building too — the strategy, the budget, and the execution — through the freelancer we already work with, or through anyone else you decide is better. You will refuse the wrong links even when they are cheap, and you will go find the right ones even when they are hard.
You will not code, but you will read our codebase well enough to brief the engineering team on what needs to change — schema, internal linking, render paths, sitemaps, page speed, hreflang. You will write tickets engineers can act on without follow-up. There is no separation between strategy and execution here.
If you enjoy taking a product with strong surface and uneven discoverability and making the second match the first, this role will fit.
- You have real experience growing organic traffic on a product where the keywords are competitive and the intent is layered — SaaS, AI tooling, eCommerce, or marketplaces. Not affiliate sites, not blog farms.
- You have done both technical and content SEO at a senior level. You can run a crawl, read a render-blocking issue, spec structured data — and you can also sit down and write a 2,000-word post that ranks, or rewrite a landing page so it actually converts.
- You write well in English. Your copy is clear, persuasive, and built around search intent rather than around your word count. You can move between the voice of a landing page and the voice of a blog post, and you know when to use which.
- You manage writers and freelancers without needing oversight. Your briefs don't need to be rewritten. You evaluate link opportunities and refuse the bad ones, even when the vendor pushes back.
- You think in users and registrations, not in rankings alone. You know the difference between traffic and qualified traffic, and you will protect us from the second. You measure yourself by what converts.
- You can detect technical problems and explain them clearly to engineers. You don't need to ship a PR. You do need to write a ticket an engineer can act on without follow-up.
- You work asynchronously, own your timezone, and don't wait to be unblocked.

- Experience scaling programmatic SEO across dozens or hundreds of templated landing pages, with internal linking and content variation that survives Google updates.
- Multilingual SEO experience — hreflang, localized sitemaps, AI-assisted translation workflows that hold up at scale. We plan to expand into Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Hindi, Chinese, and Arabic, and the person who can guide that has an edge.
- A working understanding of how AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude) reads a site — llms.txt, structured data, citation patterns — and how to make Modelia the answer they cite.
- A track record you can show. Sites you grew, before-and-after traffic curves, and published work — landing pages or posts — that you can point to and say I wrote this, and this is what it ranked for.
- Experience in fashion, eCommerce, or AI visual tooling — Shopify ecosystems, Midjourney, Runway, Canva, Photoshop. Useful, not required.
