Position Overview
We are looking for an SEO Specialist who takes full ownership of their accounts and is focused on delivering measurable results, not just completing tasks. This role involves managing all aspects of SEO performance, including technical optimization, content audits, on-site strategy, and improving visibility within AI-generated search experiences. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, highly accountable, and committed to maintaining detailed documentation of daily work, recommendations, and progress across their accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Total Account Ownership: You are the lead advocate for your clients. You are expected to proactively monitor performance, identify gaps, and solve problems before they are brought to your attention.
- AEO and GEO Strategy: Optimize content to ensure our law firms are cited in AI generated responses across all platforms.
- Meticulous Documentation: Maintain real time, transparent updates in Trello. In our remote environment, if it is not in Trello, it did not happen. You must be disciplined in logging activity to ensure the team is always aligned.
- Technical SEO: Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits and work closely with developers to ensure recommendations and fixes are properly implemented, tested, and completed.
- Local SEO: Manage and optimize Google Business Profile listings while identifying opportunities to improve local search visibility, map rankings, and overall local presence.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with account management, content, social media, and development teams to ensure all marketing and website initiatives are aligned with SEO best practices and optimized for both users and AI-driven search experiences.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of professional SEO experience, with a demonstrated understanding of the evolution of search.
- AEO/GEO Proficiency: Proven experience optimizing for generative engines and answer based search. You understand how to leverage schema and chunked content for AI visibility.
- The Ownership Mindset: A positive, professional attitude. You take pride in hitting deadlines and take full responsibility for the outcomes of your assigned accounts.
- Advanced Toolset: Proficiency in Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog.
- AI Implementation: Daily experience using LLMs or Claude Code to enhance keyword research, content briefs, and data analysis.
- Workflow Discipline: Exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to using Trello for project tracking and team transparency.
- Experience in Legal SEO is a huge plus.
- This is a full-time Monday through Friday schedule. Candidates must be available to work an 8-hour shift that closely aligns with standard business hours of 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST.
