Job Description
Senior Quality Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join a team supporting the manufacturing and maintenance of industrial machines, engines, and aerospace components. This role drives quality excellence, leads problem-solving initiatives, and ensures compliance with internal and external quality standards across manufacturing operations and suppliers.
We welcome candidates with strong manufacturing quality experience in industrial, automotive, or aerospace sectors, broadening the talent pool while maintaining rigorous standards.
This is an onsite role.
What You’ll Do
- Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications to define and enforce quality standards.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives, including 8D processes and root cause analysis, to implement permanent corrective actions.
- Manage internal and external customer drawings, specifications, and compliance documentation.
- Support daily production shipments, audits, and quality inspections.
- Track and report metrics, using statistical tools to analyze trends and improve processes.
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards to enhance first-pass yield and reduce scrap/rework.
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams and suppliers.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and industry quality standards, including FAA Part 145 / Part 21 and ISO-based systems where applicable.

What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or related Engineering field.
- 5+ years as a quality engineer in a manufacturing environment. Aerospace experience is a plus but not required.
- Proficient in Excel, Minitab, Microsoft PowerPoint, and statistical analysis tools.
- Knowledge of GD&T, QDAS systems, and OEM or customer portals preferred.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent project experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
