About The Role

We are seeking a talented Web Experience Designer to join our team. This role requires a designer who approaches their work with the vision of a director and the strategic mindset of a strategist. You will be responsible for leading the entire design process for client websites, from initial wireframes to polished, development-ready Figma files. Your work will involve participating in discovery sessions to extract brand insights, translating ambiguity into compelling design decisions, and creating interactive, scroll-worthy experiences that imbue websites with character and soul. You will define or evolve visual identities, including typography, color schemes, motion intent, and layout logic, ensuring consistency across projects. Additionally, you will create interaction concepts and motion references for Webflow developers, maintain and evolve design systems, and present your work confidently to clients. Your ability to stay current with web design trends and discern when to incorporate or ignore them will be crucial to your success in this role.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience designing websites with a proven portfolio demonstrating your expertise. You should possess expert-level skills in Figma, including components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping, and developer handoffs. A keen eye for typography, whitespace, visual hierarchy, and pacing is essential. Your approach should be strategic, with every design decision backed by reasoning. You must be comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects without compromising quality or deadlines. Self-direction and strong asynchronous communication habits are vital, as you will operate independently. Confidence in presenting ideas to clients and defending your design choices is necessary. A curious, experimental mindset with a genuine obsession for the web as a creative medium will set you apart.
