Job Summary
The Senior Network Architect is a customer-facing technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale enterprise and cloud network architectures for oir cloud clients. In this role, you will serve as the networking “squad leader,” providing CCIE-level expertise across routing, switching, WAN, and hybrid cloud connectivity while guiding 10–12 customers through modernization and operational excellence.
You will act as the primary design authority for complex network environments, lead critical incident escalations, and collaborate closely with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver resilient, high-performance solutions in Microsoft Azure and other cloud environments (future).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Architecture & Design
- Lead the design of enterprise-grade network architectures across LAN, WAN, Data Center, and cloud environments.
- Architect hybrid connectivity solutions integrating on-prem networks with Azure using VPN, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, and SD-WAN.
- Develop high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD), reference architectures, standards, and network diagrams.
- Drive Azure network architecture including hub-and-spoke, Virtual WAN, Route Server, Private Link, Private Endpoints, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, Front Door, and DNS Private Resolver.
Engineering & Operations
- Perform advanced configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of complex routing, switching, and WAN technologies.
- Serve as the highest-level escalation point for critical network incidents, outages, and performance issues.
- Conduct deep-dive packet analysis, root cause identification, and post-incident reviews.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance across customer network infrastructures.
Cloud Networking
- Implement and support Azure networking services including VNets, NSGs, UDRs, network appliances, and load balancing.
- Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Network Watcher, NSG flow logs, and connection monitoring for observability and diagnostics.

Security & Zero Trust
- Apply network security best practices including segmentation, firewall policies, micro-segmentation, and Zero Trust principles.
- Collaborate with security teams to align network designs with organizational security posture.
Automation & DevOps
- Support network automation initiatives using Terraform, Python, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to policy-as-code and infrastructure-as-code practices for consistent, repeatable deployments.
Customer Leadership
- Lead architecture workshops, technical discussions, and roadmap planning with customer stakeholders.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and executive audiences.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across the networking domain.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Core Networking (Primary Requirement)
- Deep experience with BGP (advanced), OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, STP, VLANs.
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, IPsec VPN, GRE/DMVPN, and large-scale enterprise network design.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layer network issues in mission-critical environments.
- Experience designing for high availability, performance optimization, and redundancy.
Cloud Networking (Azure Preferred)
- VNets, subnets, NSGs, UDRs
- ExpressRoute, VPN, Virtual WAN, Route Server
- Private Link, Private Endpoints, DNS Private Resolver
- Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, Front Door
- Network Watcher, Log Analytics, NSG flow logs
- Strong understanding of hybrid architectures and cloud connectivity patterns.

Experience Requirements:
- 10–15+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture.

- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives and resolve critical incidents.
Certifications Required:
- CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure or Routing & Switching) or equivalent mastery.
- Strong cloud networking proficiency (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Preferred:
- Azure certifications (AZ-700, AZ-305).
- Additional cloud or networking certifications.
