About the role
We’re looking for an experienced HRIS Consultant (Payroll & HR) to join our growing team at Silver Cloud.
This is a client-facing consulting role within our Client Transformation Advisory Team, partnering with organisations on HR and payroll system selection, implementation, optimisation, and wider transformation programmes.
You’ll work directly with clients as a trusted advisor, helping HR and Payroll leaders define requirements, improve processes, navigate vendor decisions, and deliver successful system change. This role is best suited to someone who combines strong HR and/or payroll systems knowledge with proven experience in a consultancy, advisory, or highly client-facing project environment.

You’ll report directly to our Head of Client Transformation.
What you’ll do
- Lead and deliver client-facing consulting and project management across HR and payroll system selections, implementations, upgrades, and optimisation projects
- Run client discovery sessions and requirements workshops, identifying pain points, process improvements, and business needs
- Translate client requirements into clear recommendations around system design, delivery approach, and configuration
- Manage project delivery from planning through to go-live, including governance, RAID logs, project plans, and status reporting
- Act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients and vendors throughout the project lifecycle
- Build strong client relationships and confidently manage stakeholders at different levels
- Support training, user adoption, and change activity to help ensure successful project outcomes
- Identify opportunities to add value and extend support in line with client needs
- Contribute to Silver Cloud’s continuous improvement culture by refining delivery approaches, tools, and ways of working
- Support brand-building activity through webinars, case studies, and industry participation

What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in a consultancy, advisory, implementation partner, or strongly client-facing HRIS / HR tech / payroll project role
- Experience working directly with external clients, leading conversations, building relationships, and guiding decision-making
- Strong background in HR and/or payroll, with a good understanding of processes, operational challenges, and compliance considerations
- Demonstrable experience delivering HRIS / HR tech / payroll systems projects, ideally across platforms such as Dayforce, HiBob, Workday, SuccessFactors, Cezanne, Cascade, iTrent or similar
- Proven ability to manage multiple client projects or workstreams at the same time
- Strong experience gathering business requirements, facilitating workshops, and translating needs into practical solutions
- Solid project delivery skills, including planning, governance, RAID management, and stakeholder reporting
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences and build credibility quickly
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative consulting environment with high standards and multiple priorities
- High attention to detail, strong organisational discipline, and a commitment to follow-through
