The Opportunity
Nextgraad is hiring a Full-Stack Developer Intern to join our engineering team for a 3-month paid engagement. This is not a passive learning role. You will be contributing to real products, working within a live codebase, and building features that are used by actual users across our recruitment and education platforms.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Full-Stack Developer Intern at Nextgraad, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing responsive, user-facing frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Building backend services, RESTful APIs, and server-side logic to power product features
- Working with relational and non-relational databases to structure, query, and manage data
- Collaborating closely with the product and design team to translate requirements into working features
- Reviewing, debugging, and optimizing existing code for performance and scalability
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to team engineering standards
- Maintaining clear documentation of code, architecture decisions, and workflows

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for candidates who bring both technical ability and a genuine eagerness to build.
Required:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Solid understanding of frontend fundamentals — HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — with hands-on experience in at least one modern framework such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js
- Working knowledge of backend development using Node.js, Python with Django or Flask, or a comparable stack
- Familiarity with REST API design and integration
- Basic experience with databases — SQL (MySQL or PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Comfort with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration
Preferred:
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines or DevOps workflows
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based team environments
