Character Designer for Banditopia

Join an ambitious creative project at the intersection of street culture and storytelling, where you'll help shape a vibrant universe ruled by animal characters and defined by unique urban crews. This is an opportunity to collaborate long-term on Banditopia, a new IP blending gritty, graffiti-inspired aesthetics with anime and comic influences. You'll play a key role in developing original character designs, immersive environments, and story-driven visuals that bring this world to life. The project is in its early planning and research phase, offering creative freedom and the chance to contribute to a series, comic, or animated universe from the ground up. This is a fully remote, full-time contract position with potential for profit-sharing and ongoing creative input.

Deliverables

• Design original, stylized animal characters with distinct personalities and visual identities
• Create detailed environments and city districts reflecting an urban, graffiti-inspired world
• Develop story-driven visual assets for use in comics, animation, and branding
• Collaborate on world-building, power systems, and narrative elements
• Contribute to the visual direction and evolution of the Banditopia universe

Requirements

• Proven experience in character design, illustration, or animation, preferably with a focus on stylized or urban themes

• Ability to develop cohesive visual narratives and contribute to world-building
