About Influence Mobile
Influence Mobile is the company behind Rewarded Play — Google Play’s top rewarded gaming app in the U.S., with over 20 million users and $40M+ in rewards delivered. We operate across the US, Canada, the UK and Australia, and we’ve been named one of Washington’s Best Workplaces three consecutive years by the Puget Sound Business Journal (#3, #6, #8) and one of Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces in 2023. We’re a small, high-performing remote team that punches well above our weight.
About the RoleWe’re looking for a motivated recent college graduate with a background in Computer Science or UI/UX who is excited about using AI to transform how quality assurance works. This is not a traditional QA role. While you’ll handle manual testing for new features, the core mission is to build, implement, and continuously improve AI-driven QA processes that minimize the need for manual testing over time. You’ll be joining at a pivotal moment as we expand to iOS, giving you the chance to build QA processes for an entirely new platform from scratch. You’ll have real ownership from day one and a clear growth path into product management, project management, or a senior technical role within 18–24 months.
Key Responsibilities• Design and execute manual test plans for new features across the Rewarded Play platform (mobile Android app, soon coming iOS app, web tools, backend services)
• Research, evaluate, and implement AI-powered testing tools and frameworks to automate repetitive QA workflows
• Build and maintain automated test suites that reduce manual testing time and increase coverage
• Develop and document QA processes, test cases, and quality standards for the team
• Collaborate with product and engineering to identify high-risk areas and prioritize testing efforts
• Track, report, and triage bugs with clear reproduction steps and severity assessments
• Continuously explore emerging AI tools (LLMs, visual testing AI, codegen tools) to improve QA efficiency
• Measure and report on QA metrics: test coverage, defect escape rate, automation percentage, time-to-release
• Participate in sprint planning, feature reviews, and release processes
QualificationsRequired:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, UI/UX Design, Software Engineering, or related field (graduated within last 2 years)
• Demonstrated interest in AI/ML tools — personal projects, coursework, or self-directed learning

• Basic programming skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter mentality — comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have:
• Experience with testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
• Experience with mobile app testing (Android preferred)
• Knowledge of prompt engineering or AI-assisted development tools
• Portfolio or projects demonstrating creative problem-solving
Growth PathThis role is designed as a launchpad, not a destination. Based on your performance, interests, and initiative, within 18–24 months you will transition into one of the following:
• Product Manager — Own features end-to-end, drive roadmap decisions, and shape the product experience for millions of users
• Project Manager — Lead cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines and stakeholders, and drive operational excellence
• Senior QA / Test Automation Engineer — Architect testing infrastructure, lead QA strategy, and mentor future team members
Compensation & Benefits• Starting salary: $55,000/year

• Opportunity to shape a greenfield QA function using cutting-edge AI tools
How to ApplySkip the traditional cover letter. Instead, submit:
• A 2-minute Loom video answering: “If you had to QA test a mobile rewards app using only AI tools, where would you start?”

Send both to: daniel@influencemobile.com — Daniel Todd, CEO, will personally review every submission and conduct first-round interviews.
Our process is fast — expect a decision within 2 weeks of submission.
