The Role

We are looking for a hands-on junior Data Analyst to join our Engineering org. The role will initially be forced on writing SQL queries and creating dashboards for business stakeholders. There are significant career growth opportunities at Pipe, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to data pipelines and other engineering tasks. Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Collaborating with senior data analysts & product managers to translate business logic to automated reports
  • Proactively exploring complex datasets to uncover insights
  • Working with stakeholders across the business develop metrics and reporting, and to investigate data issues
  • Experience performing funnel analytics across multiple partnership channels, analyzing conversion performance, and identifying drop-off points
  • Deploying and monitoring warehouse models and dashboards, in close collaboration with engineering.


Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated, curious Data Analyst with the following required qualifications:

  • Experience writing SQL queries and using data tools such as dbt, PopSQL, or SQLMesh
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards in BI tools (Hex, Preset, or Looker)
  • Familiarity with Google BigQuery or similar tools
  • Conducting deep dives to inform optimization strategies and improve conversion efficiency
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.


Other preferred qualifications include:

  • Working knowledge of coding tools such as GitHub, VS Code, and similar.
  • Comfortable collaborating with others and communicating progress, decisions, and results clearly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in one of: Computer Science, Financial/Applied Math, Statistics, Economics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience designing and analyzing a/b tests, forming hypotheses, and translating results into actionable insights to improve performance
