About the Role
We are looking for a DeFi Operations Analyst to join our remote team. This is a non-developer, strategy-focused role for someone who genuinely understands how decentralized finance works - from yield mechanics and liquidity dynamics to protocol risk and on-chain data interpretation. You will work closely with our strategy and marketing teams, bringing DeFi intelligence into everything we do for our clients and internal operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze DeFi protocols, yield strategies, and liquidity positions across multiple chains on an ongoing basis
- Research and evaluate new yield opportunities, farming strategies, ve-tokenomics models, and protocol incentive structures
- Track TVL shifts, APY/APR fluctuations, and risk parameters across relevant platforms and report findings in a structured manner
- Maintain internal dashboards and performance reports covering portfolio behavior and broader market trends
- Collaborate with the strategy and marketing teams to integrate DeFi insights into client-facing work and positioning
- Identify and assess risks - including smart contract exposure, liquidity risk, and regulatory developments, and recommend mitigation approaches
- Monitor governance proposals and protocol updates across key ecosystems and summarize their strategic implications
- Prepare clear, well-structured briefings and reports for both internal stakeholders and external partners

Requirements
- Strong, hands-on understanding of DeFi mechanics: AMMs, lending and borrowing protocols, yield aggregators, staking, liquidity mining, and ve-token systems
- Practical experience working with platforms such as Aave, Compound, Uniswap, Curve, Convex, Yearn Finance, Pendle, or similar
- Confident use of on-chain analytics tools: Dune Analytics, DefiLlama, Nansen, Token Terminal, or equivalent
- Analytical mindset with a high attention to detail and ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - you will be producing reports and presentations regularly
- Proven ability to work independently, manage your own time, and deliver in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of tokenomics, governance mechanisms, and the broader Web3 ecosystem
- Minimum one to two years of hands-on experience in a DeFi, crypto, or fintech environment
