About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our Technology & Operations team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise web applications to support our business and operational objectives. Your work will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, operations, and depot staff, to create seamless, efficient, and innovative web solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in full-stack development, a passion for problem-solving, and an interest in emerging technologies such as automation and artificial intelligence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization focused on technological advancement within the logistics industry.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development, with proficiency in technologies such as React, Laravel, React Native, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP frameworks. Experience with databases, version control systems like Git or SVN, and web server management (e.g., Apache, nginx) is essential. A strong problem-solving aptitude, understanding of software development lifecycle, and familiarity with UI/UX best practices are required. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean, and system testing methodologies—including automated testing—is highly desirable. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with OCR frameworks and the ability to work independently to debug and resolve issues are advantageous. Additionally, a willingness to relocate to Dubai or Oman after a probationary period of approximately 12 months, along with adaptability to Middle Eastern work environments and collaboration with onsite teams, is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services that align with business objectives. This includes automating processes, optimizing system performance, and ensuring high-quality code standards. You will work closely with the team lead and other developers to gather requirements, define project scope, and meet deadlines. Collaboration with UI/UX teams to maintain design consistency and documentation of product features and project details are key aspects of this role. Staying current with emerging web development trends and technologies to continuously improve our solutions is expected. Additionally, you will liaise with yard staff, operations, and accounts teams to ensure seamless integration of web solutions into existing workflows. Contributing to system testing, automated testing, and infrastructure management, especially in cloud environments, will also be part of your responsibilities.
